Rental terms

A rental is a remote GPU. Sherwatt bills it from a shared USD balance. The shortest rental is 1 minute. The quote locks the rate when you sign it. Sherwatt charges each started minute while the machine is running. If you destroy a machine that has started, Sherwatt charges the open partial minute and refunds the unused credit from that rental.

If provisioning fails, or the quoted machine is gone and no equal or cheaper match exists, Sherwatt queues a refund of the unused deposit. A refund of the rest of the balance waits until you have no active machines. You pay with native ETH on Robinhood Chain. ETH is also the gas token. USDG is an ERC-20 on that chain after an admin enables it.

You get SSH and Jupyter on machines you rent. Do not use them to attack other hosts, mine for someone else, or host illegal material. Sherwatt can destroy a machine that breaks that rule. The host is a third-party machine. Disks are not a backup.

This site does not issue SHWT. Checkout labels it coming soon until the token is deployed and an admin enables it. In demo mode you can pay a quote without a wallet.
